thisfishfliesSo, me and my friend are pretty horrible people. This is a conversation we had awhile ago:
me: See, and most people don't know this. They think it is a joke. I know it is a serious problem, yet still exploit it. That is the makings of a true friend.
Abigail: Indeed.
11:38 PM me: Just like you and my eye thing. Or my many other things you exploit.
11:42 PM Abigail: It is true.
me: I think we are in an abusive relationship.
11:43 PM Abigail: No! Please don't hit me!
me: I got it from running into a door.
11:44 PM Abigail: Well, I just fell down.
me: It was my fault. It's because you love me.
11:47 PM Abigail: I know you didn't mean to, you just get carried away, and I know you feel bad after.
11:48 PM me: I can understand how you want dinner after work. You work so hard, baby. It's my lack of forethought that did this.
11:49 PM Abigail: I guess I am in the way, I really don't want you to leave me.
11:50 PM me: I know you'll come back. You always come back. It was just a mistake and will never happen again. I don't care what you do with the others, you love me.
11:55 PM Abigail: I know I deserved it. Things at school aren't going so well and I know this puts stress on you, I know once you cool down you regret your behavior, and I couldn't live without you.
11:56 PM This is just your way of showing your love for me.
me: I know what everyone says, but they don't really see you. I do. No matter how bad for me my parents think you are, I know you would never harm me. I know your soul.
12:00 AM Abigail: I know you are trying to change, you only want the best for both of us, and who doesn't deserve another chance?
12:01 AM me: It was your home life that made you this way. I can fix you. Love can fix anything. Time heals all wounds.
12:06 AM Abigail: You're the only one I've ever trusted, I know I'm the one who needs help, you only care about me.
