OKAY, TOTES DOING THIS.
Jul. 30th, 2009 02:52 pmSO I'M TOTES BUILDING MYSELF UP TO BEGIN WRITING MY EPIC TORCHWOOD/BRAINSHIP FIC.
And it's working quite well. I mean, I've had the playlist for a while, and a general idea, but I've got shit like a plot outline and character sheets and shit. This story is more planned out that any in the past.
But, who does not want to write a story about Jack Harkness lusting after what could be said to be a spaceship? And not like in "wow, that's a kickass FTL drive, I wanna fly that ship" but "we need to have indecent and improbable sex right now, even if it is just with your servos".
I MEAN- IANTO IS A SPACESHIP. THE DOCTOR IS A SENILE SPACESHIP. OWEN IS A FUCKING SPACE HOSPITAL AND TOSH IS JUST GOING TO PLAIN KICKASS.
I'm really doing this, because if I didn't, I'd make myself sad. SRSLY- I made a fanmix for the fic I have not written. That's gotta be worth something.
Just thinking about this makes me smile, no matter what kind of day I had. I kinda want to write a crack capslock version, too.
I want to gush and sparkle and just go "and then this will happen and Lisa will do this then Ianto would fire all his weapons but the pirates do this and IT ALL ENDS WITH JACK/SPACESHIP SEX". I can't do it with my friend, as she has not read the Brainship books. EVERYONE SHOULD. SHELLPEOPLE FALL IN LOVE, TOO!

May. 9th, 2009 03:49 pmSo, I'm now working on another TW crossover. This one is TW/HP. I've even got a title, but no fanmix, yet. "Veiling the Rift". You can guess from the title what it is about.
And if you can't- Sirius appears in Cardiff after he falls through the Veil. The fun bit is that Sirius is still a dangerous criminal in the Muggle world. So Torchwood will have fun when they find out who he is. Mind probing! Learning about wizards! Learning about aliens! Learning the fate of the wizarding world! Reunions!
I'm planning on writing more before posting anything, although I do have the first little bit done.
