Notes: Based on the book/idea here. First installment of the "Merlin Mystery Activity Book" 'verse. Well, second if you count this comment!fic. And, this took me way to long to make. It would have been better if I had something beyond MS paint, but you have to play the cards you're dealt. It also killed me to slowly trace everything, then going back and erasing the best lines.
Merlin was not sure if his tasks were getting harder or if his hate was making him go a bit blind.
Well, they really could not get any easier, he figured. That thought was both comforting and very unnerving. Either he was following the trail of an idiot, or some crazed genius. Either way, they had still taken Arthur. Merlin would push through any obstacle and pass every test to get Arthur back.
Even while thinking that, Merlin could only sigh at the parchment he held. This was the most ridiculous thing he had ever seen. And, he didn't even need to follow the instructions to figure it out.

When he found who ever planned all of this, he was going to do something violent. Something Arthur would do.
Merlin crumpled up the paper and walked to where Lancelot killed the griffin. There was something white pinned to the tree.
"God, not another one," Merlin groaned. He really wanted some tea. And when he thought tea, he was picturing the strong spirits Gaius had in the back of the cupboard. This day could not get any longer.
.
More to come, when I am not so tired.
